In the suit against Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye on charges of alleged falsehood and incrimination of the Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, and an alleged assassination attempt. The trial judge of the High Court of The Federal Capital Territory, on Tuesday granted an adjournment to the prosecution, after its failure to tender witness details to the court and the defendant. The counsel for defense, Olusegun Jolaawo raised an objection after the witness had proceeded to testify against lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye. The judge after ruling on the objection, expressed disappointment in the prosecutor’s failure to include the details of witness- Mr Onoja. However, she granted an adjournment of hearing to 5th of December, 2018.
